Undead creation/slavery - Gimble Dustfingers - 07-23-2011 Hi! I wondered if multiple summoned undead creatures had been implemented and if undead creatures could be enslaved, if so how many undead slaves can a PC have at the same time? Also can undead creatures be created and stay permanently? thanks ^^ RE: Undead creation/slavery - Sten - 07-23-2011 Don't think you can enslave undead, atleast it would not make sense at all. And I don't think any summoned creature's stay permanently either. -Sten RE: Undead creation/slavery - Animayhem - 07-23-2011 Summoned creatures do not last forever as depending on the creature the time duration. I believe familiars and companions the exception unless they are killed. Mounts will stay for duration of game, even if you have hitched them elsewhere unless they are killed. RE: Undead creation/slavery - EdinSumar - 07-23-2011 Mindless undeads are practically slaves already, anyhow. - Edin RE: Undead creation/slavery - Sten - 07-23-2011 And Shackled mobs go away when you logout, unless you sell them. -Sten RE: Undead creation/slavery - DarkRanger - 07-23-2011 Evil clerics and blackguards can dominate undead for a short period of time. As far as summons, I think you're only allowed 1 spell summon of any type, casting another spell unsummons the first. You can have a companion and a familiar in addition to one summoned but you cannot have two summons at once. Not sure, but aren't animal companions and familiars in the same "slot" for game engine purposes? RE: Undead creation/slavery - Balanor - 07-24-2011 They are different. So, for example, if you really want an entourage and you have an evil Sorcerer/Ranger/Cleric you could have your animal companion, your familiar, one summoned creature, all your recently captured slaves (up to what your strength allows), and all controlled undead (up to what Turn Undead allows) following you around at the same time. Keep in mind that if you were adventuring though this would give you a significant penalty to combat XP though.
