Strangely enough, I'd like to nominate one of the newest inhabitants of Thay, Alice Blackstone as played by WingsofStardust for an "active" slot. Maurice met her on the first day of her arrival and he was completely OOC in showing her around and being helpful. As she took to Thay at a scary speed, she was able to make Maurice's aid "in character" as she became part of a hare-brained plot to seduce a future Red Wizard so that he might be in their personal pockets.
Most fun I've had in a loooong time.
