Okay, it's official. My PC is dead. The new/used fan was super loud for a reason, the bearings must have been going out. So, until the new fan arrives, I am absent. Sorry, but that is the way it goes. I can keep in touch via tablet on the forums, but no playing and worse still no hak work.
I'll keep you all updated as the situation changes.

Whatever you do, don't buy anything from Acer. Acer is crap.
Have you considered shopping through the Alienware site? Alienware makes some pretty good customized computers, especially for gaming. Just go to their website and you can pretty much order anything you need to build your rig from the motherboard up. :)

The counter to that would be, they have the most affordable financing options, you can generally get 12-months no interest on it, up to $4,000 (last I checked).
