Right, this is for all you knew people. I only have one... Wait wrong topic.
For anyone who is new to Roleplaying servers (Like me) turns out you cannot actually gather xp when you wait on noteriaty. Just level normally outside your prestige classes, or you could end up losing a lot of xp (13k for me) and have to spend the time to earn it back. This is apparently an unwritten rule, as it's neither in the Player guide or the forums, and is definantly something to be aware of.

He is saying that if you do not level up because you do not yet have the noteriety to start a prestige class and instead you store xp until it opens, not only will that not work but you will lose any xp that was stored and only be allowed to level once, shaving the excess off.

Er, if you don't mind the xp loss, you can still get the noteriaty while waiting, just you lose quite a bit of xp.
