Forge in Nethjet - Pluto - 12-01-2011 I have a question concerning the forge in Nethjet. Is there a limit to the number of enchantments you can add to a single item? If so, what is it? Thanks to anyone who can help. RE: Forge in Nethjet - Animayhem - 12-01-2011 That depends on the intial properties of the item and certain enchantments have a stacking limit. RE: Forge in Nethjet - Karilynn - 12-01-2011 Typically it's 3 different enchantments, I think. So you could have armor that has: +2 Immune to Knockdown Regeneration 1 But once you put the 3rd enchantment on, it's done (unless you remove one) I think, so if you wanted to bump the above up to +3 (once you have enough notoriety) then you'd be stuck. I think the above is accurate, but I'm sure if it's not someone more knowledgeable will correct me. :) RE: Forge in Nethjet - kta - 12-02-2011 Your statement is correct, Karilynn. KTA RE: Forge in Nethjet - Dhark - 12-02-2011 Does the forge feed on your notoriety, or just use it as a measure of the strenght of enchantements you can place ? RE: Forge in Nethjet - Sten - 12-02-2011 It doesn't feed on it, but the more notoriety you have the more powerfull enchantments you can make. -Sten RE: Forge in Nethjet - Sundraoi - 12-02-2011 It does not feed on notoriety but it will cost you gold and XP equal to 10% of the gold spent for the enchantment. RE: Forge in Nethjet - Pluto - 12-05-2011 Thank you for all the replies. Please excuse me if I am being overly dense on this. Thank you again for any help you can give. If I have a +1 weapon, can I add three enchantments to it or two because it already has a +1 bonus? From what Karilynn has said it looks like I can, but I would not be able to increase the weapon to +2 unless I dropped one of the other enchantments. Is that correct? RE: Forge in Nethjet - Sundraoi - 12-05-2011 An item can have 3 enchantments on it so your +1 item can only have two more added to it. If you add two enchantments and then wish to take it from +1 to +2, you would have to remove the +1 enhancement before adding the the +2 enhancement. RE: Forge in Nethjet - Pluto - 12-05-2011 *flash of insight* Thank you, Sundraoi! I understand now. :) |
