Melody's Poem for the Three - Animayhem - 06-29-2012
Here is both the chat and poem.
I have listed the poem again separately.
Melody Singer: *curtseys* Hello, Omnipotence.
Kalinda: *shifts a bit and turns each time she hear the knights walk near the door behind her*
Sargatha: Melody.
Aznar Thrul: *his gaze moves back to Melody and lingers* perhaps time for your performance now? *narrows eyes and glares to the rest of the party, almost daring someone to step forward* or is there someone left to offer their congratulations?
Ryech Voralt: *smiles*
Melody Singer: *nods to Sargatha, then smiles to the Zulkir* As you wish, Omnipotence.
Melody Singer: *steps around to the other side of the pool*
Maurin Greyhand: *turns and pushes himself off from the pillar*
Wally Kirsh: *stays back after seening the glare*
Siucre Milis: *slips her arm through Ryech's and lays her head against his shoulder*
Melody Singer: *sets her pack down and pulls out a worn instrument case, opening it and pulling out a tamborine*
Vortar "The Mad" Blood of Tharax: *Quietly contemplates that if the bard offends Thrul there could be less blood if he drowned her*
Melody Singer: *rises back up and grins* As two of our honorees are involved with the Legion, I think I'll do one in honor of legionnaires.
[Aznar Thrul: *his gaze remains fixed on the bard*
Azura: *smiles*
Tristella d'Flagellad: *keens her eyes to Melody's pending performance*
Melody Singer: *taps out a steady beat with the tamborine on her hip, then takes a couple of deep breaths and starts to sing*
Tristella d'Flagellad: This should be good. Minstrel Melody has not yet failed to entertain.
Melody Singer: "Oh it's the life of a Legionnaire for me, on every patrol, one lass or two or three
We march on city patrol; always mindful of our goal"
Tristella d'Flagellad: *stifles a laugh at the opening lyric*
Kalinda: *quietly slips where she can again see the door and those gathered*
" We have strong muscled arms *raises her free hand and flexes briefly*;" some of us even have some charm" *winks*
Kalinda: *slight smirk*
Ryech Voralt: *smirks faintly as he watches Melody perform*
Siucre Milis: *grins and turns her gaze on Reych briefly*
" It's not the life for every bloke; But once you're in, you get a snazzy cloak
We're all incredibly brave; And battle foes both living and beyond the grave"
Vortar "The Mad" Blood of Tharax: *Listens while watching the guests*
Anastashia Shadoe: *stands back by the door feeling very much out of place*
" If you're good at dealing with commotion; Then you might even get a promotion"
*salutes*
Azura: *grins slightly*
" Big swords our skilled hands wield *winks*; Thrusting until our foes collapse or yield
We've got a strong firm grip; Once caught from our hands you won't slip.
Aznar Thrul: *a smile that could almost be considered sincere crosses his face*
" If you serve the Tharcion true; In the end you can be honored too
The sergeant might send you on a task or two; But really, he's not trying to kill you." *grins*
Aznar Thrul: *smirks and nods once in agreement*
Azura: *rolls eyes*
Ryech Voralt: *chuckles softly*
Kalinda: *smirks in disbelief*
Siucre Milis: *grins and chuckles softly*
"He's just making sure you're made of the right stuff; Because to be a true legionnaire, you can't just be "good enough"
Anastashia Shadoe: *shakes her head *
"Oh it's the life of a Legionnaire for me, on every patrol one lass, or two, or..... *takes in a breath then holds out the last note* THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Vortar "The Mad" Blood of Tharax: *remembers back to the time as a recruit the master seargeat DID try to kill him for crapping in the well....ah the mistakes of a recruit*
Azura: *waits for the Zulkirs remark*
Melody Singer: *grins as she finishes the last note, and lets the beat die down*
Aznar Thrul: *pauses for a moment, smiles, and then claps* excellent, Bardess Melody. your reputation is well earned
Ryech Voralt: *claps heartily and smiles at Melody*
Vortar "The Mad" Blood of Tharax: *waits to see if the zulkir wants her drowned or liked her preformance*
Siucre Milis: *claps loudly and smiles*
Tristella d'Flagellad: *greets the song's finish with light, tittering laughter*
Sargatha: *nods to Melody and starts clapping*
Azura: *claps and smiles*
Cain Darkfist: *claps loudly*
