Wizard Question - Mechamage95 - 11-05-2012 Hello there, just been curious about this for a while. I'm playing a Necromancy Specialised Wizard and have been wondering... Technically, Divination is a forbidden school for a Necromancy specialised Wizard and Scrying is Divination... So my question is this... Is it still okay for a Wizard specialised in Necromancy to use Scry or not? I'd appreciate any answers. RE: Wizard Question - Balanor - 11-06-2012 Yes, you can still use scry. I believe that even in the Haunted Lands trilogy and in other novels, Szass Tam (granted a very powerful necromancer) was able to use Diving Pools to spy on his enemies or watch a battle unfold. It's maybe not technically allowed by D&D rules, but it is not limited in Thay. RE: Wizard Question - Mechamage95 - 11-06-2012 Ah, alright then, good to hear. Thanks for the reply! |
