Dear Mistress Mediocross,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to you to ask permission to meet with you in person. I can not trust the contents of this letter will not be intercepted so I am afraid I must be vague in my details. Please trust that I would not bother someone of your station without a just reason. I believe there is a credible threat to Thay and its citizens and perhaps it has already come to your attention, but I can not risk that it has not.
