Factions - Necromancing the Stone - 02-22-2014
Okay, so I have a Dwarf Character, Fortis Stonebeard, that is interested in having a Dwarfish Church, called Khazad Thay, built in Pyarados. The character is going to have the majority of his rp centered around Pyarados, and has already joined the Legion there.
Khazad Thay would essentially be a place where shrines to all the Dwarven deities would be erected and a Dwarf could come and worship however he pleased, to whichever one he pleased.
My intention is to do this as a player house that will have keys that I will give to any Dwarf in game. Fortis would call himself "Thane" of the Khazad.
Would this make it an official joinable "faction" or would it be an unofficial player group? Not sure how the process works, if there is one, for starting things like this.

You would buy the house and set it up as you like. If you got enough people involved it -could-(not saying it will happen) have the possibility of becoming a true faction. I will say at the moment you are the only dwarf so I think you'd be enjoying the player run church for a time.

There actually is a dwarven shrine to all the dwarven deities already in game, somewhere, if you can find it... good luck.

Is this supposed dwarf shrine a secret, Bishop? You'd think you'd want people to be able to find it :P

*chuckles* There are a few of those places that are 'secret' or might just be tucked out of the way. I will tell him, he needs to think like a dwarf to find the temple. ;)
