War on Aglarond - Pluto - 05-02-2021
Shortly after a trade delegation from Aglarond departs the harbor; the city of Escalant is vaporized in a ball of flame, leaving only a smoldering crater behind. Tharchion Hezass Nymar of the tharch of Lapendrar -as well as several other authority figures of the city- are assumed dead, killed in the great conflagration.
Quick to respond to this apparent treachery of Aglarond, Tribune Coros Tenslayer calls for war against the long time foes of his tharch. The Zulkir Council grants him the title of War Marshal and allow him to expand Lapendrar recruitment outside the borders of the tharch, though stop short of mobilizing the other tharchs of Thay to join the looming war against Aglarond.
