Sorsha Olreda - Hlussawen - 08-24-2021 Sorsha hails from Bezantur, and she proudly considers the city most beautiful and most important place in Thay. And perhaps even in the entire world. Being the only child in her family, the woman grew to be spoiled and praised, even moreso when her magical talents let themselves be known. And, despite the traditionally harsh ways of Thayan teachings of magic, this attitude only got worse as the years passed by. While being deeply in love with Thay and all that surrounds her, Sorsha seems to care little for its flaws, mindlessly basking in the pleasures and gifts the land has to offer her, and delighting herself in rumors and intrigues she hears at the local shops. She considers her life one magnificent adventure, with an opportunity for more pleasures and curious events on every corner. A sweet treat to flavor her days like the honey in her wine, only to be shared in a gossip later on. And that attitude often extends towards the people she meets along the way. She is moody and flighty, driven by her whims and desires, and very hedonistic, possessing deep love for earthly pleasures, be those of wine, passion, or any other delight she might stumble upon in her way. And to Sorsha none of those can ever truly be enough. Her demeanor is usually sweet and pleasant, and her voice is soft. She is well-mannered and refined, often exceeding in flattery and compliments. Yet, despite her warm attitude, Sorsha's praises rarely have any value to them, and on most occasions, in reality, she pays little attention to those that receive them. Among some other possessions, Sorsha tends to carry a small journal, which she considers a mild entertainment during the long caravan rides across the country. It is filled with small poems and thoughts on her adventures, and she doesn't mind sharing it with others when her heart wishes so. A pattern dedicated to Sharess can be seen upon the woman's shaved head, with artistic images of lips and cats, intertwined together into a complex design. And on some occasions Sorsha herself can be seen at the temple dedicated to the goddess in Bezantur. She admires jewelries and gemstones, and has a fondness for cats. She owns a small hairless kitten named Lokum, along with her lover Molvar. RE: Sorsha Olreda - Hlussawen - 10-24-2021 Sorsha's fingers leaned to light up the candle, as the area around her became filled with pleasant golden light. The lodging quarters of the temple of Sharess that she shared with her lover Molvar were now relatively quiet. Surprisingly so, lacking even the noises of impassioned lovers and the loud, demanding murmuring of cats. Or at the very least one could say that there were less of those than there usually were in the evening. A pleasant enough atmosphere to let her relax with a glass of wine and set her mind on a journey of its own. There was a wrinkled paper with its cryptic message still lingering on a desk nearby, calling to those truly loyal to Thay to show up at True Visions, and then another one, containing a depiction of a skull with tentacles, and a menacing message: "Trust No One". For a moment the woman's mind returned to her latest journey, to the encounter with the charming phasm that wished to visit her temple so badly, but ended up, as such things often did in life, likely being experimented on by the Zulkir and his assistants. There was some passing sense of pity for the creature that she could understand so well in its intentions and goals, and for a couple of days after their adventure ended, Sorsha pondered if she could possibly find another ooze of such a kind somewhere else. If only for the sake of exchanging experiences, and having long conversations about the pure joy of seeking new excitements and sensations in one's lives. But then, she figured, it had to be a task worthy of a long research, something she was not about to dedicate any of her days to, while they could be blissfully wasted on yet another bottle of Thayan red, and yet another night of pleasures instead. On top of that, her mind was constantly returning to the impressive, mighty posture of Zulkir Thrul, offering the honor of aiding him to a mere group of adventurers and people who were certainly not among his closest circles. And then, as if in a loop, back to the tentacled skull and an old note. "Trust no one..." she quietly read to herself. Was the whole adventure true, and was the honor of helping the Zulkir real? Or could it simply be an odd dream crafted by the alhoon Alkazarka to throw Thay into disarray? Perhaps they all were now living in a fantasy crafted by the mind flayer and his minions? Another sip of wine filled her body with a pleasant sensation, and she eagerly inhaled its citrucy scent. If it was a dream, she could not say that she minded it all that much. After all, so far, it seemed to be a good one. RE: Sorsha Olreda - Hlussawen - 01-30-2022 From Sorsha's miniature blue poetry book: Sunrise of Eltabbar, Red like wine-coated lips, Weightless like lover's touch. Embraced us, as we sat, Caressed under sky's velvet veil, Breathing in, Scents of a thousand nights. That were longing for our love. Until now, When at last I drowned myself in your eyes, My sweet, wine-scented lover. RE: Sorsha Olreda - Hlussawen - 04-16-2023 Made an AI picture of her recently, so I am putting it here as well :) |
