Question on Scrying - theredknight_x - 12-27-2010

Is there a benefit to using scrying as a diviner, or whether you have Spell Focus or Greater Spell Focus in divination?

It isn't exactly said what constitutes scrying exactly, but I'm assuming it's probably some kind of will save or something, as in PnP.

So if your a Diviner (divination specialist) are you able to scry more often? Are you scry's less likely to be detected? If you take Spell Focus in Divination or Greater Spell Focus Divination, does the chance of you being detected go down? Can Spell Resistance resist scrying attempts as it does in PnP?

Just a curious lot of questions.

Here's a link to the PnP version of the spell.

Scrying at this time is not very much like PnP, but this will likely change.

No, and the amount of times a person can scry will likely not change.

Thanks for the link though. I don't particularily care for how scrying is currently implemented (and I can say that because I modified and updated it to the current way it is handled ;) ), so I'll be referring to it when I revise it again to get it closer to PnP rules.
