So not sure how long til I get my new harddrive. If I log on to thay on a different compy will it effect any aspect of my characters?

The same thing when I log on with my other compy.

In game playing time.

I am currently on a seven year old compy whch is not designed for gaming perse. Sometimes if much activity going on I could get dc'd. So I am greatful for your patience in this matter :)

If you switch computers/hard drives be sure to backup your localvault folder - besides some character files it also contains the often very important in-game journal notes you wrote down for a character.

Soooo my old hard drive about 80% functional so good possiblity data can be retrieved. (keeps fingers crossed)

However it was discovered that my six slot board has one bad slot and two of the six ram sticks damaged.

Soo new board and two sticks..... maybe compy back up weds......

Happiness! I was able to retrieve the data off the old harddrive which the tech said was at about 80% functionality.
For the retriveal and wipe less than $120.

Ok my new compy up and running. Will see if NWN works. If Not I will switch to my old and dink around later.
