Quests- Researching quests for NPC's
#1
Several of the quests for questions NPC's ask arent working. I found the research notes and typed it in the way it shows on the paper, even tried capitalization but evenutally failed the quests.

1) What is the name of the Kossuth temple in Bez.
2)The one about the Dragon Turtles
3)What year did Thayd and his group of mages get defeated. (Something along those lines)

The trick is how the questor worded it. I have had some which sounded like a three word answer but is actually one word.

Yeah the dates are the trickier ones.
Caramiriel:Retired
Garbage:Retired
Rimeth: Merchant of Bezantur
Marister (dead) -Ranger -Robin Hood of Thay (death marked for pissing off a Daeron.)
Vil'a'w'en Mel'for'm - Blighter of Moander

They can be difficult. Did you leave out the "The" on the Flaming Brazier one? The answer to that one was just two words. The others, I haven't personally encountered.

One or two key words without "a, and, the" and the like is often the answer. Sometimes an adjective is required, such as in the question concerning Eltabbar's canal layout (making that answer two words rather than one).

As a general reminder for the research quests:
Thayan Wrote:Tips for Quest Type 4 - Research
-Wizards and Bards stand a good chance of being given this quest type, and receive a slight bonus to their research attempts. PCs with less than 10 intelligence will never receive this quest.
-After being given this quest, find the nearest library at which point your PC will do an automatic check for the answer. The PC’s intelligence and Lore skills will improve the chance at successfully researching the answer.
-You (as a player) may also want to try and Bing the answer or look through source material to find it.
-The NPC will be *very* picky about the spelling of the answer. When you type it in, it must be exact, however the answer is not case sensitive.
-When providing an answer, drop any preceding words like "a", "an", and "the". As a result, many answers will be only one word, and no answer will be more than three words.
-Of all quest types, this is one of the safest.
