I think it's time I take my leave from Thay. Recently, I've caused some serious issues ic due to my incapabilities, and often reckless rp. The fault is entirely mine, and it is with that in mind I now resign from Thay... and with it everything I was working in, earned, or made within. It's a wonderful server with a wonderful community... which is why it makes it hard to leave. But sometimes, slow and steady wins the race. And I fear I'm more hyper/twisted than a troubled child on pepsi.
I've thought about it for two days... and wish to make a few statements before saying those five words. This is not an impulsive decision that was the result of a few errors. I'm a busy person irl who's life only gets busier in a week. I've done very little to add to the server, and will likely have little time to do so in the future. This, coupled with some recent mistakes ig, has confirmed in my eyes that it would be best for me to leave and focus. Thus, allowing others to as well. I also want to state, as mentioned, that the DM team is patient, forgiving, creative, and outright splendorous. Everyone here is lucky to have such wonderful folk enchance their stay here. 80% of this server is full of experienced, mature rpers. If I could drag you guys out of the computer and take you to office for lunch breaks, I would... a pity it's not possible :P.
With all this out of the window, I have one final statement. It has been a privilege to play here, and I am deeply regretful of the damage I caused. I wish you all a happy new year, a fantastic story for your characters, and deep satisfaction for every night's graceful venture into the world of Thay.
