Preaching

Do any skills like intimidate or persuade contribute your preaching rolls, or is it purely charisma based? Or is it totally random?

I believe it's charisma with modifiers for both notoriety and the NPC's reaction. So they can contribute indirectly by scoring success on using the skill in conversation.
Mirella Locke - Callisto

Olukon Thrune - Bookworm priest

Hargrid Beld - Paladin of Hoar

Lyta Csndrila - Fire Woman(On hold)

Thinking Persuade does has an effect ... and pretty sure I read somewhere that alignment plays a part in it too ... the PC's, the NPC's, and your deity's ...

I have a feeling it is totally random. All three of my characters preach and it seems the success rate is about the same though maybe a bit higher with Cara since she is a Druid which is akin to being a priest.
Caramiriel:Retired

Rimeth: Merchant of Bezantur
Marister (dead) -Ranger -Robin Hood of Thay (death marked for pissing off a Daeron.)
Vil'a'w'en Mel'for'm - Blighter of Moander

Last I checked, it's listed somewhere in the server features.

It's a combination of Charisma modifier, Wisdom modifier, and Notoriety. I do not believe it mentioned skills.

EDIT: The NPC's opinion of the player also comes into play.

Persuasion has a big effect on the opinion of NPCs towards your PCs

Someone told me it was a roll that combined every single charisma-based skill combined with the base charisma bonus and the NPC's opinion of the berk in question.
