I looked for a thread on using forges to enchant an item in the server features but it's not there. It would be a good thing to post for future ref.
Question: I have created a spell book using a blank book, since it's a holdable item can I use a forge to give it a property?

Items you want to enchant have to be of a certain value or have magic on them. Sunstones and gold rings are usually the only to items I can think off of the top of my head that you can enchant that are not already magical in some fashion.

Not 100% sure, but I'm guessing no based on the fact that a Gearstaff, which probably costs alot more than a book, can't take properties at the forge.

Try buying one of the Dragon books at oghma's in bezantur, they might be valuable enough to enchant

You can also enchant spells on vampire fangs and dragon's eyes.

Yes... This is the staff my wiz sek uses and i would love to be able to enchant it but sadly it seems unable to take it. It wont even give the option to do so sadly. I wonder if its because the game counts it as a Misc item rather than a true staff.
