I'm thinking of making some changes in my lineup, and sacrificing my two most powerful PC's in favor of more medium level PC's. The question I have is I want to sacrifice one sub-race PC (Dalton) in favor of a human. The question is, I know when sacrificing a human in favor of a subrace, it does not follow the pure 1/2 level ratio, as subrace is factored in. But is the obverse true as well? Dalton is level 11, but the human could attain level 6 say due to Dalton's XP earnings being possibly higher with him being a subrace?

I believe it's half lvls regardless. I know when Raemi, my vampire, died and I used her to make another, the new one was half of Raemi's levels. It's just a straight level cut... I don't beleive the ECLs are not taken into consideration.

I know it is going from human to subrace PC, ECL's are taken into consideration. This answers if it goes the other way. Thanks!
