Live Cams to Make You Feel Good
#1
Having an awful day? Here, watch these kittens.

Or watch these sea nettles.

Or watch these weedy sea dragons.

Or watch these puffins tending their nest. (Ooh, this puffin habitat camera has audio!)

Or watch these sharks. (Guest Starring: Sawfish and whiptail rays.)

Or watch these penguins while they're swimming around or just hanging out. You might as well peek in on their babies while you're at it.

Or if animals aren't your thing, here's the Atlantic Ocean (as seen from the Frying Pan Tower, a decommissioned lighthouse 35 miles off the shore of North Carolina...Cape Fear's headland, to be exact). I'm told that the scenery here turns pretty wicked every time a sea storm rolls in. Also, there's a pretty cool view under the Frying Pan as well. (Or, if you're too big of a wuss to stand out in the middle of the ocean, here's a view from the shore. Wimp. :P )

Tune in when it's nighttime over Central Canada and this camera might be worth watching too.

That Explore's a heck of a website, isn't it?

There. Don't you feel better already? :)

When you said live cams I thought you were going to mention female primates of a particularly hairless species.

According to the video's comments, one of the blacktip sharks got bitten by another shark about nine days ago; the vets netted the wounded shark out of the pool and fixed him up with some surgery, and now he's fine. He must have looked at one of the other sharks funny.

Aside from that, check in around 2:00 PM Pacific Time every day. That's when they feed the sharks. :)
