The high forest of the Thaymount has long been a dwelling of sylvan creatures and beasts living in the shadow of the Red Wizards rule. Mostly ignored, they have enjoyed a measure of protection due to the restricted travel through High Thay. Recently, these forests creatures have attacked caravans going to and from the gold mines, interrupting the important supply lines and becoming a threat to thayan way of life.
Tharchion Willeth Lionson of High Thay oversees the gold mines of Thay and takes his job very seriously. For a short time, he will allow slavers and hunters access into High Thay to cull the threat of these creatures dwelling in the high forest. Those interested will need to see him for a charter before doing so.
((This scheduled DM Event is open to all players, but is generally intended for those of Neutral or Evil alignments. Interested PCs should gather at the Red Lord's Respite in Thralgard Keep on Saturday May 16th at 9:00AM CST.))
