I was wondering something about the exp rate on killing creatures.

I was in the crypt today and found myself only getting 1 exp for things like Skeleton Priests, Flaming Skeletons, Dread Warriors and even a Zombie Lord.

Was it because I had a familiar out?

Or does the exp just fall to that low when you are higher in level?

I am level 8, if that matters.
