Under the right circumstances, typos are roleplay. Look at the work I did with Zelis. :D
So the way I understand it, the difference between High Scottish and Low Scottish is the difference between Sean Connery and Billy Connolly...or the difference between Cate Archer and Magnus Armstrong from the No One Lives Forever series. So which sort would you say that you are? ;) Corella d'Margo, arch-liar

I was brought up in Glasgow, but I had family living in the highlands, and Edinburgh, and family still living in Stirling and kilmarnock. But have been living in England for most of my life. :D
So I shall let you decide which type of Scot you think I am. :D Scientists say the universe is made up of electrons, neutrons and protons ... They forgot to mention morons!

You're...a really, really convoluted Scot? o_O

Errr... just for future reference, I'm pretty sure there's a "More Info" option with windows 8.1 when you try to double click on a .exe file in your downloads folder to install it...
If you click that, the fey operating system will then, reluctantly, present one with the option to "Run Anyway"... an option I'm very fond of at work (largely because it's not my computer... so why not?). Not that it matters so much, since windows 10 will supposedly be arriving soon, and therefore probably before there's another hak to install... and, if it works halfway well it'll immediately be followed up on with a windows 11... but, if nothing else - "Run Anyway" can sometimes be a preferable option to the default of "Run Away"...

...except that I tried "Run Anyway" three times. Not one of them worked. Hence, the manual .hak installation (after I got tired of futilely trying to get the .exe to work).

Hmm... come to think of it, I think that I remember it not working for me either.
I do the manual a lot anyway, so I guess it didn't really stick in my memory... or maybe it was because of the rum? |
