Let it be known,

There will be a grand Tournament sponsored by the Red Watch to be held in one weeks time.

((Saturday April 19th 4pm PST GMT -8))

The tournament will be three separate main events with three minor events.

Joust - Tyraturos, along with a battle of mages. ((May 3rd))
Melee - Eltabbar, along with a bardic competition. ((April 19th))
Archery - Pyarados, along with a thrown weapon competition. ((April 26th))

In total six event winners will be rewarded with appropriate prizes. Second and third place competitors will receive a purse of talons.

Any single competitor may only compete in one event. The six event champions will then be part of a rare hunt to determine the overall Tournament Champion and receive the grand prize.

During the final hunt, spectators and other competitors will be invited to a reception in Amruthar by an esteemed host.

During each event spectators are encouraged to attend. There will be refreshments and entertainment provided.

Rules of each event will be outlined before they each begin.

If you wish to compete for the primary events there is a five thousand talon entrance fee which will go to fund the reward purses. For minor events a one thousand talon entrance fee. Give notice of your wish to compete and which event to Knight Lachlan Vantur or Tribune Brandon Baxter along with your primary profession and level of experience. Entrance fees can be paid any day up to the day of the event you wish to compete in.

The finale will be completely sponsored by the Red Watch and our esteemed benefactor.

The rewards will be fitting for each event, and things not able to be obtained elsewhere. As well the Red Watch will be contributing to each prize purse. Not to mention the renown and notoriety that will come along with winning any of the events, and especially the finale.

The next event will be held this Saturday the 10th at 7:00PM CST in Amruthar at the tournament grounds there.

This will be an open event not limited to just the winners of past tournaments but to any interested in attending. It will be a hunt to remove a threat to thayan society sponsored by the Zulkir Maligor.
