Slave Auction!
#1
Hear ye, hear ye!

In three days, on 11 Tarsakh, Sergeant Korina Vercingetorix of the Ebony Legion of Dreaded Unicorn Riders shall be hosting a slave auction. Magical items will be accepted so long as they can add up to a total

For auction/Starting Bid:
Five elven rangers of indeterminate gender/11,500 talons for the whole lot
Female human bard/15,000 talons
Male human paladin/17,00 talons
Two Medusas/500 talons (The Sergeant wants to get rid of these as quickly as possible!)
Four assassins/800 talons per assassin

*Silent auction has been crudely scratched out*

(GMT 18 Tomorrow, getting rid of Kori's PC slave Sila. The rest are just NPCs she has captured, sold, and I am bragging about)

((Due to OOC circumstances, the auction will be held here instead. Because Sila cannot make it to the auction, bids will be placed here for 12 hours from the time of this edit.))

The medusas, which were brought on stage, drew hesitation from the crowd. They were both chained at their wrists, unable to remove their blindfolds or the harsh iron bands keeping their snakes held up into savage, writhing ponytails. A hesitant nobleman placed the only bid, a thousand talons, and was escorted by a Drow recruit very far away from the Tyraturos slave market after he received his prize.

Pimps from the Street of White Roses of Bezantur pounced at the opportunity to buy the five elven rangers, when the final price they were sold for totaling three times the starting bid.

Nobody seemed to want the paladin, which Korina promptly beheaded in front of the crowd.

((Please post your bids on Sila before 10 PM Califorña time tonight.))

Daeris stands on the edge of the gathering, watching the initial sales with an obvious lack of interest. The bard, however, this one catches her eye. She moves to the front of the crowd as the girl is brought onto the stage for bidding and waits silently for the first bid to be called out. Once it is apparent that no others are going to start the bidding she flashes a bright smile at the auctioneer and lifts a hand. "I will start with an offer of 3000 talons for the human"

The auctioneer looks down at the elf and shakes his head, "The opening bid was fifteen thousand!"

He frowns and looks around at the crowd, "Ahem. Three thousand talons for the bard!"

A woman wearing a deep blue and purple armor ending in a short skirt that seems like it would blend in with the night sky pokes her head out of the crowd, slipping a small coinpurse unnoticed into her pouch. Her devilish tail lightly sways behind her as she holds up a rod that looks more like an extended mace.

"Ah'll g'yeh five t'ousand f't'bahd, lad!"

Her accent would have a Luskan hint to it, a small flash of red hair from underneath her hood, a visible grin. Those around her would likely give her dirty looks for raising the price as much as she did, possibly spreading rumors about what a Tiefling could even use a slave for.

((Milli would proceed to bid 1,000 more than any competition unless bidding exceeds 20,000. In case I'm not available))

The auctioneer stares at the Tiefling. "Can you repeat that in common?"

"Ah sai'i i'common yeh l'il-"

The Tiefling sighs, keeping her temper under control as she repeats herself much more slowly.

"Fahve... T'... Th-ousand."

((Won't be able to access the keyboard, no formatting from my phone on future posts so they'll look gross))

Tribune Baxter approaches the auction block as the bard is being bid on.
I'll give 5,500 talons.
