Rumors are swirling... Sergeant of the Legion, caught spying on a Red Wizard, security test or just plain treason... drummed out of the guard... fled discipline by Red Wizard Maurin, only to eventually be caught... only to get away again?
The wilds are now less safe. The bandits operating between townships now have a new face to excite them... Fred Davis. He talks of evil sheep, but no one knows quite what he's talking about.
One thing is sure... this guy isn't easy to kill... and there's talk that maybe he has had help... that maybe he still has help... that maybe there's some power faction that's been using him and will now be preparing their move.
Or, maybe that's just the talk of idealists and dreamers who would like to think that there is some sort of alternative to doing what they've always been doing...
In any case... anyone who is loyal to the Red Wizards should beware... rebel scum like this Fred Davis might kill anyone, and cook their remains over a campfire like they were nothing more than a stag or deer caught while hunting...
