Annoucing a new weekly campaign based out of the very heart of Thay!
The Tyraturos Nights campaign is open to anyone who wants to attend; there are no restrictions on level, class or even alignment. The only requirement to join the campaign is to be at the Tyraturos crossroads at the appointed date and time. However, disputes between characters will be handled ICly; so if the party does not want a member to come with them for whatever IC reason, the will of the party will be honored and that person will be sent away. I am hoping that will rarely be the case and the reasoning for so will be good. (i.e. a group of blackguards don't want to travel with the paladin, for example)
Some of the adventures of this campaign will be part of a bigger storyline and others will be one shot adventure. It is my intent of this campaign to try and make it so that it does not depend on one or a group of people to attend from week to week to continue the adventure.
The first adventure is set for April 28th at 8:00PM CST.

Word begins to spread across Thay of the death of Master Rembert Wellford of the school of divination; killed by the hands of his own slaves in brutal uprising at his estate in High Thay. Stories are told of the ambush they laid for the investigating force led by Master Hazlok Thrune and Daeron Brandon Baxter; with some of the slaves dressed as Thayan Knights purely for the element of surprise. The struggle was bloody and violent, with all of the slaves fighting and dying to the man. Fear begins to arise that such an uprising may begin to plant the seed of rebellion into the minds of other slaves....

The city of Moszabbar and the tharch of Thazalhar reel from a deadly slave uprising! If it was not for the timely arrival of Master Thrune, Ebon Lancer Mirella Locke, Tyraturos legionnaire Allura along with the mercenary force of Carnellian, Cassae, Shianne, Marister, Ne'Umbria and the priestess Corella d'Margo the city may have been lost! Mulhorand forces began to gather around the shores of the River of Dawn in anticipation of claiming the city, only to quickly stand down when order was restored. The number of dead Thazalhar legionnaires and citizens is still being counted, with a respected lieutenant Milena Aset being one of the fallen. For her service in this struggle, she was awarded the rank of Captain posthumously.

Slave uprising in Tyraturos! While lacking the scope of the one that beset Moszabbar just weeks earlier, this one resulted in the death of dozens of legionnaires. Rumors begin to spread that the attack was orchestrated by a marilith. Why a marilith would be interested in leading a slave rebellion against Thay is anyone's guess, as the nation stands on edge against further attacks.

The village of Surag has fallen to the marilith Glackzana and her slave army! Located on the northern edge of the tharch of Tyraturos; the village is equidistant from Eltabbar and Tyraturos. Tharchion Dimon quickly assembled a force of legionnaires to reclaim the city. Led by the Thayan Knight Grace -who was once a captain in the Tyraturos legion- she was accompanied by the Tempus Cleric Gabriel Montford and the Gladiatore Magnus Tris.
Meeting with some resistance as they reclaimed the city, it soon became evident that Glackzana had laid a trap on the legionnaire force as even more slaves descended upon the village surrounding the legion! There were only a handful of survivors and it is assumed that Grace and her companions were slain in the fighting. Surag still remains under the control of Glackzana and her slave army.

The tide begins to change! Word spreads that there is dissent within the slave ranks of Glackzana as many within her army begin to surrender inexplicably. As the legion of Tyraturos -along with the support of the Ebon Lancers- performs manuevers close to the captured village of Surag, it is only a matter of time before the remnants of her army is crushed!
