Computer is waiting at the designated pick-up place. So will get it after work. May or may not set it up.

Ok I picked it up and have it out of the box and set.
However a little bitty paper with visuals in many languages came with it before I start I will look for and print out the manual.

*le sigh* I finally plugged in my computer however, not only would it not power up, but it kept cycling through on fan off, on fan off.

I did the suggestion of unplugging the computer, holding down the power button for 15 secs then plug it in again.

It did the same thing. I am thinking something came loose in shipment. They will be sending me another computer.

Ok new computer up and running. Now to see if I can get nwn to work. If not I may just use my old one and putz a bit later.

I am quite pleased with not only how my computer runs but the efficiency of window 8.1. It quickly analyzes and seem so far to choose the right compatibility for programs.

NWN was originally on an xp computer downloaded from a hdd onto my win 7 computer. It took me three days to get it to work. I loaded my win 7 version from the hdd and it took only 10 min or less to get nwn up and running.

As for the display I unpinned all the apps and added desktop to start menu. click on it and bam the win 7 desk top :)

I still have stuff to load and sort but so far I am pleased.

I am able to get into game all right. However internet access spotty sometimes fast sometimes slow. I am ordering a new modem. So I may be experiencing some mini lag spikes. Modem hopefully will come next week.

I installed the new modem today. So we shall see how tings go. I think the technologies were clashing.
