The Thayvian Drinking Game! :D
#1
For this organized prelude to lamentable drunkenness masquerading as a social game, you'll need the following:

• One or more other people playing on this server at the same time. If you don't like using Tells or Party chat to keep track of each other's descending sobriety, feel free to use the dedicated real-time chat program (ie. XFire, Skype, YIM, etc.) of your choice.
• An alcoholic beverage that's at least mildly stiff, at least two bottles for every player...hard liquor, bourbon, whiskey, vodka, what-have-you. All of the players should be drinking the same stuff; if you're downing shots of California Cooler and apple juice while everyone else is shooting Wild Turkey, then quite frankly, you're a lame-nosed cheater and you deserve to have your booze-shy lips candle-waxed shut for the rest of the evening. (Of course, if you're drinking California Cooler at all, then you're probably unspeakably lame anyway.)
• A comparably sized shot glass or pony glass for each player. Optionally, everyone involved can substitute lager glasses or beer mugs if you want the game to end quickly. :P

Got everything you need? Then let's all log on, start walking around Thay and see who passes out last! Cool

• Everytime you find an NPC with the last name "Nefzen," take a shot.

• Everytime you find an NPC with the last name "Colds," take a shot.

• Everytime you find a Red Wizard leading an Apprentice and a Thayan Knight, take a shot.

• Everytime you spot a sahuagin of any kind, take a shot.

• Everytime you spot a sahuagin in an area without any large bodies of water in sight, take one more shot.

• Everytime you see a thug kill a cat, take a shot.

• Everytime your caravan stops, take a shot. (Reaching your destination doesn't count.)

• Everytime you see a goblin or a kobold of any kind take 12 or more points of damage from a single attack and remain Uninjured, take two shots. Subdual damage doesn't count. :P

• Everytime your caravan stops and the Caravan Leader kills the interrupting creature(s) before you have a chance to descend the wagon's stairs, take two shots.

• Everytime you find a Red Wizard inside a brothel, take two shots.

• Everytime you find a halfling with a half-orc slave, take two shots.

• Everytime you find another player-character's corpse, take three shots.

• Everytime you see a Legionnaire attacking a player-character's familiar or animal companion, take three shots.

• Everytime you see a basilisk, a cockatrice or a medusa petrify a seagull, take three shots.

• Everytime your caravan stops for a non-hostile creature, take three shots.

• Everytime you see a cat kill a thug, take three shots.

• Everytime you find a live, naked, female NPC riding a horse, tell all the other players "I found Lady Godiva!" and take three shots.

Hmmm...needs more rules. :-/

Okay, people...let's come up with some more rules and add them to the list now. Don't be shy. :D

Hahahaha... this is pretty awesome.

This reminds me when I was playing one weekend night a long while ago with my trusty bottle of rum next to me, just a-sippin' and a-playin'. I get a tell from another player:
Player: "Want to go do a crypt run in Thass with me?"
Me: "No. I'm waaaaaay too drunk to get into combat"
Player: "Why is EVERYONE on the server drunk?"

I laughed and I laughed :D

What happens if you find a red wizard named Nefzen leading a knight and apprentice inside a brothel where an NPC named Colds is also inside, and outside of which a cat and thug have mutually slain each other near a slain PC corpse, while sahuagin run in the streets? Would that be drinking the whole bottle? ;)

Obviously, everyone else on the server was playing the drinking game! You should have asked to join in. :D

You don't get any booze because you left the caravan out of your monologue. Nyeh. :P

The player in question did probably ask me first... :P

• Everytime an NPC tells you about "The massive, iron-bound, magically strengthen portals of Bezantur's North Gate," take a shot.

• Everytime you find a commoner NPC whose face actually resembles that of his or her portrait, take three shots.

There we go. Two more. ;)

• Everytime you come across a character who has the description of "Emerald eyes, and flawless body", take a half a shot.

Half because, well, you'd be in a comma before you left the market

Yeah, you know those pesky punctuation marks. They're always ambushing people and swallowing them whole and stuff. :P

I haven't really seen too many characters with that in their Descriptions, to be honest. I've seen plenty of people with the generic Bioware descriptions (which could be another rule to this drinking game in itself), but this server seems surprisingly short of supermodels. (Except for Dark Bloody's elfy women. They're all sexies. :D )

Tristella isn't a supermodel, of course; she has muscles, her eyes are run-of-the-mill brown and her skin's flawed quite remarkably. And now that she can take Intimidate as a class skill, she'll be getting a lot more points in that; nothing says "Fear me, I'm not afraid of pain" like a body full of scars, you know. ;)

Oh shush with the grammer :p

The description part was a joke i have with another, once upon a time and on a different server, every female PC in the area all had perfect bodies and "emerald eyes".
