Seeking Multiple Item Quests
#1
Azura has gotten some quests where she had to get more than one of an item.
She purchased many as the places would have been deadly to go to.

My question is this, If you need more than one of an item and happen to purchase one and decide to go to the place to try and find it, should you be able to find it or does buying one negate the finding of the item in the dungeon?

Azura bought one pair of boots needed but since she could not find another to buy she decided to go to the Thasselen Crypts. She completed it several times( yes waited long periods before returning), went with two others in her party but did not find them. Her last solo attempt an unexpected banshee appeared so she could not finish and went to the fugue so more than likely she may not go back for awhile, at least not alone.

Thanx

A Boot of Tumbling is a Boot of Tumbling, no matter where you find it. If a quest giver says "Bring back two Scrolls of Magic Missile; you should be able to find those items in the Main Crypt of Bezantur's City Tombs," you're just getting advice on where you might find a Scroll of Magic Missile or two. If you find one Scroll of Magic Missile in the City Tombs and loot the other on the plains between Murbant and the Keep of Sorrows, the quest giver doesn't care; he'll still take them both. Same with buying one of the items and/or crafting it yourself.

Tristella had a quest like that, as I recall. She had to bring a townie two Rings of Sorcery I. She found one ring in Bezantur's lower sewers (where the townie advised her to go) and she looted the other one off some random street thug. She finished the quest. ;)

Ah did she find it in the sewers first or after?

Azura made several attempts before buying the first pair.

She found the ring on the thug first; the one in the sewers came last. But it doesn't really matter. Trust me. ;)
