Caravan and Ship voyages will never have more than one encounter per journey now.

I gather this means per destination? Avrora took a caravan to go two different places and both were attacked. Does it also mean if your caravan is attacked while you are going to your first destination and on the return trip it will not be?

Each time you have to pay to step on the caravan is one trip. You will only be stopped once, if at all per paid trip. So, if you pay to go to Tyraturos, then catch another caravan on to Eltabbar from there, you can get stopped once on the way to Tyraturos and once on the way from Tyraturos to Eltabbar.

I see. Like going from Bez to Tyra then back to Bez from Tyra. If you are attacked going from Bez to Tyra, then you will not be attacked on the return trip or is it concidered a new trip?

You returned to Bez finished your quest then took another caravan, so again you could be attacked. So technically you could be attacked several times, though it sticks to one per trip.

You do not pay for a round trip when you board, do you? As I said, each time you buy passage on a caravan it is a trip... no round trips or layovers on the caravans. You can be attacked once on both the way to and the way back; each way is considered a its own trip.

Not exactly true, on long trips like Bez to Eltabbar, Kaiser has had as many as 4 stops to deal with bandits, or whatever they were.

To make matters worse, that was back in the day when assassin timers were out of whack. 4 stops & 3 assassin attempts O.o

It used to be that you would have a chance of being attacked on any trip from origin to destination, multiple times. Now, there is only a chance of being attacked once per trip between origin and destination. The liklihood of my attacking someone if they do not get this concept, is currently rising. See the diffrence?

So something HAS changed. There will not be more than a single encounter on a trip. Trip being defined as each time you pay to travel.
