New Factions

how open to change is the server from a pc's perspective? can "anything" happen? if your lucky and try hard enough? or are there some walls at the end of the universe so to speak?

as a case of extremes lets look at this scenario

a cleric PC with a large bonus vs undead happens for whatever reason to have a shot at killing thays litch king. they decide to take the chance and after some miraculous saves (or whatever) manage to kill it icly.

the repercussions are obvious and massive cival war and infighting by the wizards (even dnd lore tells that only his power keeps them in line anyway) as well as a good chance of invasion by thays bordering countries.

can big things like this happen?

Careful now. We do not want to chase off new blood to quickly.

Oh and welcome!

I think its a valid question. what if i wanted to start a new faction? or wanted to do somthing in a change the world type way? the case i described is a massive and extreme example, but it intended to say "where is the limit to what is possible"?

a more realistic example would likely be the creation of a new guild or even military order; but the question remains.

PS. HI Mayhem!

With dedication and proper RP many things are possible. We had player run factions / businesses in the past and some have been made a permanent part of the world.
