It's been about a week and a half since the reboot and I've luckily been able to play very steadily since it happened. Having had enough time now to play and explore quite a bit of the new Thay, I have to say that
1) Once again I'm really impressed with all the work that's gone into Thay, and
2) I'm really enjoying myself and the new Thay PW
A lot of things have been moved, changed, or removed, and it does feel like a very fresh experience. I love how the new design encourages (subtly, or not-so-subtly) PCs to get out and explore the world. I've spent most of the previous two days riding to every city that I know of and really have a feel now for how huge the world is.
So first, thanks to all the builders who've volunteered to spend so much of their free time building so much great stuff. I know there's a lot of you, but of course especially to Thayan as the main builder, host, and guiding hand behind it all.
Leading up to it I have to admit that I was worried that the reset and the addition of the hakpak might hurt the number of regular players, but it seems to have done just the opposite. I love what I've seen of the hakpak so far, and thank the gods (and KTA) for correct in-game spell descriptions and durations.
Thanks to everyone involved, including new and returning players who really seem to have stepped up the level of RP. I'm having a blast :)
