Thank you all for the kind words! It’s always nice to hear about the good things rather than the never-ending problems or occasional rant from a disgruntled player. Threads like this make it worthwhile and help me remember too as to why we are all here: To punish and enslave...er...to have fun! ;)
Thay is definitely a labor of love for me - and has been my NWN life for many years now. I admit that sometimes even I too lose track of why we’re here and start complaining about why ‘those damn players’ are doing things in a certain way just as some of you may have asked why ‘the damn server admin’ did something in a certain way. Regardless of who you are, there will always be something negative that can be said - but I do hope the positives of our community and PW outweigh those negatives for everyone who adventures in Thay. I know not everything is as all people would like, and adjustments have been, and will continue to be made in the attempt to keep it enjoyable for most others as well while remaining true to my vision of the setting. And as I’ve said many times; I would play here even if I were the only one - but it is truly gratifying that others seem to enjoy, a part or majority of, my vision of realm of Thay.
So I would like to say thanks everyone for your loyalty and commitment to the Thay community over the months/years - and especially those of you who recently parted with long-term characters to make the setting reboot a reality. And finally, thanks to all our staff and contributors over the year who have helped make the PW for what it is. We won’t be where we are without all of you.
