It’s really been over a year since I wrote in you, hasn’t it? I can’t… Begin to describe what has happened. My mind is free for the first time though… I can’t believe I left you in this dusty old home while I worked in Moszabbar this whole time. I’ve left Shar’s grace. The assassins will come. It’s a matter of time. Had strange dreams before I left of a grey armor-clad man striking down someone on a stairway with a celestial’s brightness on one side and the dark abyss on the other.

I’ll enjoy what I have though- this damnation will forever haunt me. The actions I committed will forever be a corruption on my soul- the lives I’ve taken… But with her influence fading I can find solace in other endeavors to help those of this world rather than hurt.

Changed my armor. I told the blacksmith to make it more revealing, not to make me look like an armor-clad prostitute!

Met some new aspiring red wizards. Three to be precise. I won’t write my opinions in this book as I’m sure two of them are scrying me- though for very different reasons. The above symbol… This is whom I saw in that dream- vision even. I shall come to serve him.

I’ve pledged my allegiance to this one known as Alessia. She could serve the Red Wizards well and make a true difference in the way things are run. We need more wizards like her. I need more wizards who aren’t disillusioned with power.

Reavyn is alive! I thought she was dead for sure- everyone else seems to have died or disappeared. Gefsdin is alive too, though… He’s a little worse for wear…

One of the Red Wizards has finished his apprenticeship. Seems pretty keen on making sure everyone knows it too. Understandable, but… Lets see where this unfolds.

Gave Cyrus and Alessia some keys today. Haven't seen Gefsdin again... Haven't seen Valin since the salamander wars. I miss that half dragon.

Killed a red wizard today- reminded me of a valuable lesson I learned oh so long ago- Everyone can bleed.

It will be a while until I write in you next, and thus I'll hide you. Needless to say I've sworn my allegiance to Alessia... I would gladly serve her in combat or as a simple servant, so long as I might further her goals. Much has happened, and I am... Happy.
