First of all this is not a complaint but an observation. I know that it may be filed under a rug and not important. :D


When you dye your gear you have two options. By dyes or using the dummies.
The dyes are limited and are not really what they say they are. I found out when I went to the clothier that the brown dye I had bought and used was in reality tan/red.
If I wanted to dye my current armor it would have cost close to $3800.

I have seen this handled a few ways. One way is a dye pot which looks like a fire elemental summoning brazier and has the dye script that the clothier dummies do.
If approved it could be handled maybe like the examples below:

Purchase maybe $5k unlimited use however for each color changed 100 xp loss.
Example: you change leather one you lose 100xp. Xp loss is already used in making, potions, wands, scrolls and speciality items. So if you decide to change all the colors 2 leather, 2 metal,2 cloth that would equate to a 600xp loss.

Talk to the dummies however charge maybe 100 gold and/ or 100xp loss per change. Again the max would be 600xp and 600 gold.
