It's definitely not efficient. If anyone chooses to make a still spell type of caster only consider using #4 (above) for flavor purposes.
@DarkRanger: You can't really just take either one of the feats. You have to take them in the order of unlocking each one from light to heavy. Therefore, you have the options of multi-classing into an armor wearing class or taking all of the feats individually.
