It's by design since that is the Cleric alignments laid out in the Faiths & Pantheons sourcebook.
Although what's the official word on Druids & Rangers in the D&D or Forgotten Realms setting - for them to receive spells or special ranger-specific powers, can they have any of the worshipper alignments? Or do they have to have the same alignments of the actual clergy? Even if they are a nature-based deity?
Basically, are Druids & Rangers supposed to be limited to the same alignments as the actual clerics too?
