Let it be known that on the first day of Kythorn, the 6th month of 1357 DR I, Aznar Thrul, have taken control of the Priador from Mari Agneh. Her failed leadership, if not the direct cause of the war, has at the very least allowed this destructive conflict to continue for far too long.
It is therefore, that I have with witnesses and here publicly, beseech the great Kossuth, Tyrant of Fire, to aid Thay in destroying these upstart Salamanders. Eternal Flame Mythalanir, in his great wisdom as leader of Bezantur’s Flaming Brazier temple, has seen fit to intervene on Thay’s behalf and promises his full support.
