Unresolved Matters of Law

Pugdish discovered (along with Rae Voralt, Drake Whent, and Merudo) a <removed due to spoilers>. He feels he should report <removed> to those who would take action against it, however, the others do not. Further, the <removed> claimed that Zulkir Szass Tam had given them his blessing to be there, which if true protects <removed> under Thayan law. Further, Rae's slave (Merudo) murdered a Goblin in front of Pugdish to protect the secrecy <removed>. Under law, Rae would be held accountable for the murder, however due to the circumstances it may have been done in service to Thay, and therefore an acceptable act under the law. Pugdish reasons that the only way to resolve the legality of the whole situation is to confirm by audience with Szass Tam the validity of the claim made by <removed>. Until such time as he can make such a confirmation, he has resolved to keep the secret of <removed> and withhold punishment for the murder of the Goblin.
