Seriously? I throw up one picture show depicting the differences between Bioware nudes and tailor nudes, and suddenly I'm a rampant streaker?

If there's a word for people who see bubonic plague every time they find a flea in their carpet, I'd like to know what it is.

I believe those 'cottage cheese' parts were intended to simulate Yuan-Ti characters by whoever originally created the clothing parts.

Huh. Is that why those parts were created? I've wondered about that sometimes. :-/

So what about those roughed-up-looking body parts with the black smudges on them, like Djed's upperarms? Those look like zombie body parts to me; all you need to do is make the skin pale and you've nailed the look.

And yes, while I could -and probably should- change the 'is naked' script to look for clothing that has certain parts as demonstrated by Wids and pointed out by others, that too is not a real high priority as it is something I hope people are voluntarily not trying to take advantage of.

Well, the way I see it, these "nakie bits" have been available through the tailor models for quite a while already. If we did have the sort of player whose characters always behave like the cast of Big Butt Orgy 5, they would have outed themselves by now. I like to think that the bulk of us have more sense (and roleplay consciousness) than that. ;)

While I understand Shadow Enitities concerns, and can see the point Wids is making, I think we are all grown up enough not to abuse these new looks that may be implemented, I chose the 'yes' vote and believe that at least the player base we have now will duly respect the nudity. In RL...you are not going to walk around town or neighbourhoods naked. (unless your deranged lol,,Wids ;))

Hey, it was the Temple of Sharess. Sharess is the Dionysus of the Forgotten Realms. Nude hot tub parties are how Sharessans say, "Hey, hello again! How are the kids?" :P

If this does happen, we as the player base can control those characters that may chose to parade skyclad by responding to them IC'ly.

And as Purulent Carcass and Sundraio pointed out, if the offending nudist does not comply to re-dressing we use their sweet spots for target practice. ;D

As if Carcass needs another reason to kickstart a round of PvP. :P

When you die and go to the fugue you are naked. Sometimes you are by yourself and sometimes maybe others. If your body and items are taken by fellow adventures to be raised at a temple, you will be naked in front of others.

That's pretty much why Corella will go to extremes to avoid dying, especially in adventuring parties. "Oh, so that's what you look like under the mask! And your robe. And everything else."

(Sure, she goes maskless for some of her disguises. But it works because she never lets people see her change clothes. "Hi, I'm Superman! 'Where's Clark Kent?' Oh, I sent him to call the Fire Department. So what seems to be the problem?")

If you die and return to the fugue and are not able to get any clothing and your horse died, you may have to make a quick streak to the vault and hope you have clothes there.

Wyren had to do that once after a dust mephit killed her and her horse. But she didn't have any clothes in the vault, so she had to run naked (and stuffless, and almost completely out of spells) about two-dozen leagues through the wilderness before she found her death pack and got all her stuff back. That sucked.

As for some concerns about jiggly puffs, some tops do cause that effect already.

Another option for public nakedness could be in going to baths or spas where some would feel if I want to get clean, I need to get naked. However if someone is with you and does not feel comfortable then it is easy to have a "bathing suit made"
Marister is of the Mother and is not ashamed of his body however he knows that when he is not in the wilds he needs minimal covering at least so he carries a bathing suit with him for such occasions.

Now that you mention it, it's been a while since I bathed any of my characters in that stream outside the Traveler's Sojourn. Considering how much she lingers around a hot cauldron and works with sulfur and other stinky chemicals, Wyren and her robes probably smell pretty rank by now.

As mentioned this place has shown a great maturity by not abusing nudity. Also keep in mind that this is not real and images are pixels on a screen. If a player does not feel comfortable please let those who you are with know upfront. Like hairy chests, nakedness can be emoted without being exposed.

Agreed. But we all know that Marister's chest is as smooth as a baby's butt. Don't lie. :P
