Rich food also has a chance to cure disease when eaten. Rich drink has the chance to neutralize poison. Hit Points gained should be up to 8 with rich food and 6 with a rich drink. Keep in mind that if someone has the room and is pretty hungry or thirsty, this could heal a number of hit points if several items are eaten/drank in succession. No healing occurs if the PC is fully satiated with whatever they are trying to consump (feed or drink). I'll double-check that sometime to see if that's the case or if it needs to be adjusted to do so.
I personally love HTF, and initially made it a requirement. But after enough...well...you know....that changed. So I do want to make sure that those who are using it get benefits that others do not. And hopefully, with many Poison (and Disease) effects becoming permanent until cured at a healer, some of this system's benefits will become even more attractive.
