Replacing Scout and Purple Dragon Knight with other PRCs is something I have considered as well. But in looking at doing so, I think that will be more work than if I'd decide to just add those new classes to the class list (like the PRC project did). I think most likely the benefit of those clases will have to be something other than their mechanics that people get in-game. Special faction access/items/locations/etc. So as we're going through this, if you might have an idea for special in-game benefits for those two classes i'd be interested in hearing them.
I don't want to make any promises at this time, but I am strongly considering adding some Thay-specific PrCs in addition to those listed. Red Wizard and Thayan Knights are those getting the most serious consideration. Thayan Slaver, Thayan Gladiator, and Monk of the Long Death (they're based out of Thay) would be....longer-shot 'maybes'.
As for the Parry question, I'm pretty sure that too is something hardcoded in the engine. with NWNX I can do something when someone has entered or left Parry mode, but not when an attack has been made against someone with Parry activated.
