So a Sharessan, a Sunite and a Maskarran walk into a sewer...
Extra props for Claymora and Bert, for the roleplay-hefty adventure through Bezantur's sewers, all for want of a magic shield. Things would have been great enough without the roleplay (1 Paladin tanking + 1 Rogue flanking + 1 Rogue/Bard flanking = meat grinder for every orc and gnoll in the place), but the knavish and slangy elf, the flirtatious and strangely noble holy warrior and the flirtatious yet prissy harlot had quite the interactions with each other.
Of course, we also ran into one of those trying times upon finding a Longsword +3 vs. Good. With at least two Good characters in the party (plus whatever the elf is), we had the situation where the player says, "That sword's worth thousands, so let's sell it" but the character says, "That sword is evil and it was forged to slay the noble and just, so we should destroy it!" So we trashed it. That hurt, but good and proper roleplay does demand the occasional sacrifice. Gazan and Tirah even had a brief "Lawful vs. Chaotic" disagreement over whether or not to pick the lock to Alek Kelter's bedroom and catch some sleep, so all Alignment mojo was in full swing tonight.
So good on you two. Thanks again for the tremendous evening. :)
(Animayhem can have some kudos too, just for playing a bitchy drow elf and bawling Tirah out about her pink leather armor with the "breezy" miniskirt. Kudos, you scalawag! :P )
