5 Eleint 1366 DR - Two Alexandrites
After searching for several days in the northern cataconbs of Tyraturos, I finally found the two alexandrites Jerto Mirna had sent me to find. Not wishing to press my luck further, I left the catacombs to return to the Red Trident and to mister Mirna to receive my reward. He paid 250 gold Talons for the gems, and then hired me to deliver a message to a Halfling named Peridoc Sunney whom he said could be found at Mufrim's Place in the Market Town on the outskirts of Bezantur. I chartered a wagon ride to Bezantur straightaway, costing me 275 gold Talons. For delivering the message I received 70 gold Talons from Peridoc Sunney. She in turn hired me to search the southern section of Bezantur's sewers for a vial of Arsenic. The arsenic proved easy to find, and I quickly returned to collect payment of 25 gold talons. Peridoc Sunney then hired me to find some Binding Ties, stating I'd have the best luck finding them in the northeast section of Bezantur's sewers.

9 Eleint 1366 DR - Sewer Slogging
I spent four days slogging through the northeast section of Bezanturs sewers looking for the Binding Ties, but I did at last find them. I elected to stop off at the Caravanserai to rest before returning to Mufrim's Place with the Binding Ties. I also thought it a good idea to visit the marketplace to sell some of the things I liberated from the sewer denizens.. When I returned to Peridoc Sunney she rewarded me with 150 gold Talons. She had another task for me. This time I was to retrieve a Rapier with magic enhancement of the first tier from the Bezantur City Tombs Main Crypt. Unil now I had not had much cause to face off against undead, so this job would put my divine gifts to their test. I was able to retrieve the Rapier, and was rewarded with 250 gold Talons.

Peridoc Sunney had no more work for me, so I made my way to Amruthar to explore the city some. In a place called the Cracked Glass Tavern, I encountered a woman by name of Sallie Ogderlin who hired me to find a pair of Gloves of Spellcraft. She suggested I search the northwest section of Bezantur's sewers, since that's where the gloves had been lost. I didn't feel like turning around immediately to go back to Bezantur since I'd just come from there, so I choose instead to take some time to explore Amruthar further before leaving to find the missing gloves.

12 Eleint 1366 DR - Travel between Amruthar, Bezantur, and Tyraturos
After taking some time to familiarize myself with Amruthar, and doing a little shopping for some new and useful items, I decided it was time to head back to Bezantur to find the Gloves of Spellcraft that Sallie Ogderlin hired me to retrieve. I set out on foot during the ninth hour of the day, heading out overland from Amruthar's Feldspar Bridge, south to Bezantur. My trip went smoothly and it wasn't long before I returned with the gloves. Sallie must be some kind of collector of gloves, for her next assignment for me was to find a pair of Gloves of the Minstrel, sending me once more back to Bezantur's sewers, this time the southeast section. There I defeated a small contingent of Sahuagin in order to lay claim to the gloves. Sallie rewarded me with 32 gold Talons for the Gloves of the Minstrel. She did not have any further work for me though.

I then met a woman by name of Nathera Wetteel there in the Cracked Glass Tavern, and she hired me to find three measures of Blue Whinnis, suggesting it could be found in the northern section of the Tyraturos Catacombs. It had been some time since I'd been back to Tyraturos, so I was glad to accept the job.

18 Eleint 1366 DR - Blue Whinnis
It took me a few days to acquire the Blue Whinnins from the northern catacombs of Tyraturos, but once I had it in hand I returned swiftly to Nathera Wetteel in the Cracked Glass Tavern of Amruthar. She awarded me with 75 gold Talons.

Next she hired me to deliver a message to one Hignar Jilkerr of the Temple of Leira in Bezantur. Delivery of the messge was simple, and awarded me another 70 gold Talons to add to my accounting.

While in Bezantur I also ran across a traveler who shared with me the information that there was a temple to the Moon Maiden at Thazar Keep. I resolved that this would be my next destination and made to charter a caravan wagon to take me there by way of Pyarados.

20 Eleint 1366 DR - A Quest To Grow On
Having arrived at Thazar Keep, I soon found myself within the walls of the Temple of the Moonmaiden. The Lunar Priest Balhenon Agneh II talked quietly with me for a short time, interviewing me about my personal faith in our Goddess. He concluded that I was not yet ready to join the clergy, and recommended I go forth and return when I was more sure of my personal convictions, and with more wisdom from my time in the world. I was disappointed, but understood. I decided to return to Amruthar and look for more owrk while making a greater effort to spread the dogma of Selune in a positive light.

I arrived in Amruthar in time to witness a slave auction. There on the block stood an Elven maiden, she seemed confident, even defiant at first, but as the bidding went on one could see fear creeping in with each new bid. In the end she sold for 20,000 gold Talons to a Daeron Baxter. There were even two Red Wizards in attendance for the auction, though they did not bid. I think they were there to officiate. Once the bidding was done, and the sale pronounced final, I slipped off and headed to the Cracked Glass Tavern as I had had good fortune finding work there previously.

There I met a man by name of Dick Sten who hired me to retrieve a specific scroll from another man named Loristin Brown, who he said could be found at the Ludus Magnus of Eltabbar. I decided to stop by the bank within the Heirarch's Palace before leaving Amruthar. There I was ambushed by another would-be slaver. He died at the sword of the bank's guardsman in his foolish attempt to take my freedom. I ran into one of the Red Wizards from the auction on my way out of the bank. She identified herself as Mistress Renee. It felt odd to have one of Thay's rulers tend the few scrapes I had incurred from the slaver. It was an action that I found certainly to be uncharacteristic of Red Wizards from any of the stories I had ever heard told of them. Perhaps some were not so bad as their reputation in general suggests, or perhaps this one was using 'honey' in order to lure me into her own twisted schemes? In any case, she advised me to make myself known to another Red Wizard by name of Master Kalos. I certainly had not intended to attract the notice of any Red Wizards, but since I had, I wished even less to garner their ire. I contemplated about this and more as I boarded a caravan wagon destined for Eltabbar.

Upon arriving in Eltabbar, I soon found Loristin Brown at the Ludus Magnus, just as I had been told I would. I persuaded him to part with the scroll I'd been sent for, for the sum of 50 gold Talons. I also witnessed to him about my Goddess Selune, and left him with a favorable view of Her. All in all, Loristin himself seemed an amiable fellow, even pleasant. I hoped I might have the chance to visit with him again some day. Alas, for now I needed to return to Amruthar to deliver the scroll I had procured from him.

When I delivered the scroll to Dick Sten, he rewarded me with 400 gold Talons. I also witnessed to him again about the Moonmaiden, and further improved his favorable view of Her.

I had heard rumor that there was an incredible smith in Nethjet, who even had access to an enchanting forge, so I booked passage to Nethjet to explore and investigate.

27 Eleint 1366 DR - Return to Amruthar
After investigating Nethjet and the blacksmith there, I returned to Amruthar and began witnessing and looking for work. After some time one of those I witnessed to, whose name was Aleney Ders, gave me some work to do. Aleney was a young woman, perhaps in her early twenties, with sandy, blonde shoulder-length hair. She stood at about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, and had a slender, though buxom build. She wore baggy, loose-fitting blue pantaloons with a decorative white belt of fabric at her waistline, and a white leather belt just below her bossom. She had a fair complexion and a sunny disposition to match, all in all a pleasant woman. She asked me to find a special type of magically enchanted helm that hd been lost in the sewers of Bezantur. Her recommendation was to start my search in the south-central section of the sewers, as that is where the helm had been believed to have been lost. I couldn't help but to be moved by the sorrow in her voice as she related how her brother, whom the helm had belonged to, had disappeared into the sewers in an attempt to rescue her coin-purse from a street urchin who'd stolen it from her in the market. She felt she needed her brother's helm in order to put his memory and spirit to rest. Of course I could not turn down such a mission, and I agreed to set out for Bezantur at once.

28 Eleint 1366 DR - Searching for Aleney's Helm
I arrived in Bezantur late on the night of the 27th of Eleint, and decided to spend the night at the Sea Wolf Inn. I would get an early start searching for the helm in the morning after a good nights sleep.

Sewer slogging yielded no helm today. I'll try again each day until I find the helm.
