All of the "Plains" aren't in the toolset at all. They are dynamically created some a series of templates after every server reset. This is why the roads aren't exactly the same every time you travel them. This is meant to represent that you are "Somewhere approximately a league from where you last were", and that you don't by coincidence happen to only have any combat encounters within the same ~200 metres squared day-after-day heh.
If you do have a bug in any particular plains which is to do with the geometry of the area, a screenshot is a worth a thousand names. If you have a bug to do with triggers (like creatures or placeables), the specific area doesn't matter.
As to you specific question - No, there is no way for you to get the additional area information without a new tool being created specifically to do so.
