Good morning all.
I am sure that many of you are aware of the fact that I am still actively working out some of the kinks with the dark theme.
One of those currently is a formatting issue that occurs when you are trying to paste something in. What happens is the the forums like to keep the native formatting of wherever you pasted it from. This is normally not a big deal, but it causes some issues since we have both a light and a dark theme. We have posts with white text on the light theme and dark text on the dark theme, etc.
The current solution that I have found is to put your text editor into "source mode" you can do this each time you post, or you can make it easy on yourself and have the forums do it for you automatically. You will have to any add in any bold or any other formatting that you want it, but that can all be done with the buttons at the top of the editor.
See the instructions below.
1. Follow the original steps in the post until you complete step 2.
2. Check the box labeled "Put the editor in source mode by default.
3. Click save.
Edit: I have also discovered that I can turn off the color option for Mycode. So that should help as well.
