Buy a little house in Bezantur, make a clinique, it should be viable. The Priador is a very good place to do this, since it is not on the plateau on thus (generally) less police-state like than the other Tharchs. Especially Bezantur, since it is so big, is very hard to police correctly. A lot of stuff go down in Bezantur which the Thayan government generally close their eyes about. As long as you keep the taxes coming and keep out of harms way it should be pretty easy.

I don't think there are any houses made just out of wood, but I would think a small house in the market town or somewhere else in the city would do, you know those really small ones the size of Ilmater's Cathedral. But I don't know, it depends on what your character thinks would work. It certainly seems humble enough.

EDIT: Also, totally fill it with a lot of potted plants, that's just a nice touch, like the inhabitant is frantically trying to make it seem more nature-y.
