After hearing about the recent murders of several members of the red wizards from the school of necromancy, an apprentice in that school by the name of Marrick Blackthorn goes looking for whatever information he can. First discussing the issue with Master Ihsahn and several others he is told that Golems of the Void are involved. Marrick gets the idea to go to the temple of Gond and question the dwarven priest there with the authority of master Ihsahn and his own Master who being a Necromancer is of course concerned aswell. He asks the priests if any of the Golems have recently been created and if so who they have been sold to. Next he asks if the golems have any built in weaknesses as he knows they were crafted to hunt wizards but there must be a way of bringing them down to save the life of his own master at the very least. Marrick then goes to great lengths to try and recover the bodies of those slain bribing where he must or intimidating some through the name of his dark master...be they Knight, Apprentice or even the Masters themselves as he and his master or well versed in speaking to the dead through the Dark Rituals of Necromancy perhaps the corpses can shed some light on who did this to them...and if not they will be added to the collection of undead servants that serve his Master.
