Also, some guy from Harvard Magazine completely ruins the legend for us and claims that the ride never actually took place. People say lots of things. :P
Whatever the case, Coventry now uses their legend as an excuse to throw an annual hoedown where all kinds of horrific garage bands can get on stage and savagely rape people's ear canals for three days. Unfortunately, no naked people--on horseback or otherwise--are involved. Also, Coventry now has a very active recycling program. That's a pretty cute city logo they have there, isn't it? :D
