Svirfneblin
Silent and wary, the svirfneblin (or deep gnomes) dwell in mines an caverns far beneath the surface of the world. While they are master artisans, miners, and gemcutters, and welcomed as neutral merchants among many Underdark races, deep gnomes are suspicious and serious creatures. Their holdings are hidden from the predatory races that share the Underdark with them because only caution, stealth, and cooperation with others of their kind stand between the svirfneblin and a terrible end.
-Stonecunning: +2 racial bonus on Search checks made in subterranean areas
-Darkvision: Svirfneblin can see in the dark
-Hardiness vs. Illusions: +2 racial bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting spells
-Offensive Training vs. Reptilians: +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against reptilian humanoids, such as kobolds
-Offensive Training vs. Goblinoids: +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against orcs and against goblinoids (goblins, hobgoblins, and bugbears)
-Skill Affinity (Hide): +2 racial bonus to Hide checks, improves to +4 in underground environments
-Skill Affinity (Listen): +2 racial bonus to Listen checks
-Spell Focus (Illusion): Svirfneblin add +1 DC to any illusion spell they cast
-Lucky: +2 racial bonus to all saving throws
-Armor Class Bonus: +4 dodge bonus against all creatures
-Nondetection: A svirfneblin continuously radiates a nondedection effect as the spell cast by a wizard of the character's level
